“Born and grown up in Mainland China, I only get to know my country until I left it.”
My growing experience has given me a more diverse perspective on the eastern and western societies. I’ve been enthusiastic about recording this journey through photography and filmmaking, while focusing on social issues. Coupled with my multi-media writing skills, I hope my work can give voice to those who are underrepresented or muted in the mainstream media. My work in this portfolio combines my research and observations with multimedia design and writing. It sheds light on injustice in legal system especially about the police misconduct and aims to support those who feel powerless in such situations.
